Jake White

Jake White

6-8 | Senior | Forward | Chaska

Finds ways to score despite getting constantly double-teamed and consistently roughed up. Long wing-span is a gift on both ends of the court. Has the ability to step outside and knock down shots over smaller defenders. Averaged a double-double: 23.2 points and 11 rebounds per game. Scored more than 30 points seven times, including a career-high 48 in a victory over Apple Valley. Will play at Wichita State next year.

ALEX RICHTER

Alex Richter

6-6 | Senior | Forward | Lakeville South

Flew under the radar after a strong junior season. His creativity and ability to elevate over defenders to score inside got him noticed right away this season after 30-point performances in close losses to St. Paul Johnson and Hopkins. Averages 22 points per game; scored 31 in the Cougars’ Class 4A, Section 3 championship game victory over Apple Valley. Mid-level D-I schools have shown interest, but has not yet selected a college.

JOE COLEMAN

Joe Coleman

6-4 | Senior | Guard | Hopkins

Tubby Smith’s top incoming recruit is the most accomplished offensive player in the state. The brother of former Gopher Dan Coleman possesses a quick first step that allows him to beat opponents off the dribble and finishes above the rim thanks to tremendous leaping ability. Fearless when attacking the basket. Surprisingly good rebounder off the wing. Averages 21.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game

ESTAN TYLER

Estan Tyler

6-0 | Senior | Guard | St. Paul Johnson

A true play-maker in every sense of the word. Great basketball I.Q. — knows when to run and how to run and always gets the ball in the right hands. Looks to pass first but can score in bunches when the Governors need him. Led Johnson to three consecutive state tournament appearances and the 2010 Class 3A championship. Signed to play at D-I Missouri-Kansas City.

JONAH TRAVIS

Jonah Travis

6-6 | Senior | Forward | DeLaSalle

The Harvard-bound senior is perhaps the most ferocious inside player in the metro. Dunks with authority and can take over games for long stretches with his combination of aggressiveness and athleticism. A passionate defender with a strong work ethic thanks to the tutelage of coach Dave Thorson, who preaches defense. Improved offensive consistency helped him average a career-high 19 points.

SECOND TEAM

Forwards/centers
Shelby Moats, Waconia, 6-9, sr., F: Vanderbilt signee scores outside and inside (22.4 ppg) despite double-teams.

Joey King, Eastview, jr., 6-8, F: Tall and athletic with a scorer’s mentality; 17.8 ppg.
