Led by David Roddy's 32-point effort, the Mustangs took the top spot in the Independent Metro Athletic Conference standings and evened their season series against the Lions.
All of the champions benefited from players who transferred. Also, Minnetonka's Bryce Tesdahl endured disappointment as a player and sold his team on avoiding it.
