Player of the Week candidates for Feb. 13-18

This week's winner

Andrew Johnson, Buffalo. The senior forward posted 33 points in a Mississippi 8 Conference matchup against Big Lake. The Bison upset the Hornets 75-70.

The other candidates

Mason Carpenter, Eastview. The senior guard led the Lightning with 31 points in a close 73-71 loss to South Suburban Conference opponent Burnsville.

Brad Davison, Maple Grove. The senior guard and Wisconsin commit put up 43 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists against Robbinsdale Cooper. The No. 2-4A Crimson won the matchup 93-85.

Myles Hanson, Chaska. The senior forward and Columbia commit recorded a massive 48 points against Benilde-St. Margaret’s in a 83-62 victory.

Michael Jones, Woodbury. The junior forward scored 32 points in a 74-55 win over Park of Cottage Grove. The Royals lead the Suburban East Conference with a 12-1 record in league play.

Dreem Kelly-Jabbar, St. Paul Highland Park. The senior forward contributed 33 points and 15 rebounds in a 76-67 win over St. Paul Central. Kelly-Jabbar averages 18 points per game.

Owen King, Caledonia. The junior guard had an impressive performance with 30 points, eight rebounds and eight assists against Kingsland. The No. 2-2A Warriors won 83-72.

Logan Rezac, Andover. The senior guard is ranked sixth in the state for total points with 574. Rezac posted 43 points in a 73-58 win over Coon Rapids.

Rieshaun Satar, Henry Sibley. The junior guard tallied 44 points in a dominating 82-52 victory over St. Paul City Conference foe South St. Paul.

Fletcher Vilt, Hutchinson. The senior forward recorded 36 points in a 88-74 loss to Wright County Conference East Division opponent Waconia.
