No. 1, 3A DeLaSalle 86, Academy of Holy Angels 55. The Islanders were able to maintain control throughout the game. Holy Angels did there best to fight back in the second, but it wasn’t enough to hold off DeLaSalle’s Gabe Kalscheur and George Mason commit Goanar Mar. Kalscheur and Mar both tallied 18 points, while Holy Angels junior Ryan Mazurek posted 16 points. 

No. 3, 3A Delano 105, Hutchinson 73. Calvin Wishart, who was ranked 8th in the state with 477 total points entering Thursday’s matchup, dropped a career-high 43 points to surpass the 500-point milestone this season. Hutchinson’s Mitchell Max scored 19 points, but Mitchell’s play wasn’t enough to match Delano’s dominance.

No. 2, 4A Maple Grove 96, Irondale 51. The Crimson had total control in this game as they came out flying by dominating the first half. The Knights did there best cut the deficit in half, but it wasn’t enough to handle the Maple Grove’s performance. Two players for the Crimson reached the 20 point mark, senior Tywhon Pickford dropped 24 points, while senior Jack Hutchinson tallied 20 points. Irondale senior, and leading scorer Sean Sutherlin posted 19 points. 

St. Paul Como Park 60, St. Paul Harding 59. Brian King-Keller stepped up for St. Paul Como Park to tally 14 points and snap the Cougars’ three-game losing streak. Leading in points for Harding, sophomore Javon Christian, posted 14 points.

St. Paul Central 62, St. Paul Johnson 51. St. Paul Central sophomore Daveonte Davis tallied a game-high 17 points to clinch the Minutemen their ninth straight win. St. Paul Johnson’s Justin Yang posted 15 points.

Minneapolis Patrick Henry 74, Minneapolis South 51. Jordan Lynn posted 20 points to keep Minneapolis Patrick Henry a half game behind Minneapolis North in the Minneapolis City Conference standings. The Tigers’ Demetrius Gladney tallied 15 points.

Park Center 74, Totino-Grace 72. Idaho commt Losini Kamara paced Park Center with 20 points to help the Pirates overcome a nine-point halftime deficit. The Eagles’ Charlie Jacob posted 29 points.
