Waconia 81, Orono 69. Waconia held Class 3A, No. 5 Orono to 21 points in the first half and were paced by Dillon Whittaker’s season-high 25 points in the upset. The Spartan’s Jarvis Thomas posted a 27-point, 22-rebound double-double and Max Bjorklund followed with 26 points, shooting 3 of 4 from beyond the arc. The Wildcats’ Nick Fulford and Carter Damlo chipped in 17 and 16 points, respectively.

Spring Lake Park 51, Roseville 50. Ben Whann knocked down a game-winning 3-pointer to help the Panthers edge the Raiders by the slimmest of margins. Kameron Davis scored 16 points for Spring Lake Park (4-15, 2-10) and Elijah Elkerton added 11 of his own. Drew Adams and Anthony Weber each scored 13 points for Roseville (6-14, 5-5). 

Minneapolis Southwest 59, Park of Cottage Grove 46. Niko Polydorou’s 21 points led Minneapolis Southwest (7-12, 4-7) over Park of Cottage Grove. Ari Bogen-Grose added 14 points for the Lakers who broke a halftime tie and took command in the game’s latter stages. Charlie Gorres led the Wolfpack (6-13, 1-9) with 18 points. He was aided by Brendan Beaulieu, who chipped in 14 points, right in line with his season average.
