PAUL CENTRAL 73 (OT): Charles Smith hit a tying three-pointer with seven seconds left in regulation, and then Shondale Strickland hit two big free throws in overtime to lead the Polars to the victory Saturday. Strickland Smith both had 25 points for North, which trailed by as many as 17 points in the second half.
• RICHFIELD 67, NORTHFIELD 61: Junior forward Jared Noonan scored 30 points as the Spartans turned back the Raiders in Richfield. Senior forward Otto Pfefferle led Northfield with 23 points.
