Player of the Week candidates for Dec. 12-16

Brad Davison, Maple Grove G, Senior: Davison had an impressive performance for No. 4-4A Maple Grove in its 81-48 win over Irondale. Davison finished with 23 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists.

Max Bilcik, Groves Academy F, Freshman: Bilcik stuffed the stat sheet for Groves Academy with 16 points, 16 rebounds, and 5 steals as they fell to WIHA in a 78-42 loss.

Logan Rezac, Andover G, Senior: Rezac scored 35 points for the Huskies in their 65-76 loss against Robbinsdale Armstrong. Rezac ranks seventh in the state with 27.8 points per game.

Goodnews Kpegeol, North St. Paul G, Junior: Kpegeol recorded 37 points for North St. Paul en route to a 93-63 victory over White Bear Lake.

Chris Muecke, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton F, Sophomore: Muecke played a major role in the 81-49 win for Russell-Tyler-Ruthton over Tracy-Milroy-Balaton, scoring 26 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Muecke leads his team with 16.7 points per game.

Walt McGrory, Edina G, Senior: Edina upset No. 3-4A Hopkins last week with McGrory leading the way, scoring 31 points in its 73-63 victory over the Royals. McGrory ranks eighth in the state with 27.7 points per game.

Nathan Hendler, Holy Family Catholic G, Junior: Hendler recorded 19 points and 11 rebounds for Holy Family Catholic as they fell to Richfield in a 78-82 loss.
 

Owen Chose, Eden Prairie G, Senior: Chose scored 29 points as Eden Prairie fell to Wayzata in a 74-75 loss. Chose is ranked 10th in the state with 105 total points.

Aaron Solberg, Perham C, Senior: Solberg helped Perham secure the 84-37 victory over Frazee, scoring 22 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. Solberg leads his team with 6.8 rebounds per game.

Mark Richelsen, Providence Academy F, Sophomore: Richelsen finished with 30 points for Providence Academy in a 63-66 loss against Southwest Christian. Providence looks to bounce back this week against Trinity School at River Ridge.
