Player of the Week candidates for Dec. 5-9

Tre Jones, Apple Valley G, junior: Jones finished with 28 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in a 91-84 loss to No. 1-4A Champlin Park. It was his second triple-double of the season for the No. 6-2A Eagles.

Johnny Erickson, Hope Academy G, senior: Erickson stuffed the stat sheet for Hope Academy with 30 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and five steals in a 88-73 win over Mounds Park Academy. Erickson ranks second in the state with 102 total points.

Kyle Kaemingk, New Life Academy F, senior: Kaemingk recorded 23 points and 14 rebounds in a 79-72 victory over St. Paul Humboldt. Kaemingk leads New Life Academy in both points per game (22.5) and rebounds per game (11.5).

Matthew Hurt, Rochester John Marshall F, sophomore: Hurt finished with 39 points and 12 rebounds for Rochester John Marshall in its 79-45 win over Rochester Mayo.

Jake Hall, Rockford G, senior: Hall scored 38 points for Rockford in a 93-74 over Minneapolis Edison. Hall leads the state with 33.5 points per game.

Brady Stevens, St. James F, senior: Stevens finished with 23 points, 15 rebounds and four assists for St. James in its 90-93 loss to No. 4-2A Jackson County Central.

Ontario Chapman, Community of Peace F, senior: Chapman played a major role for Community of Peace in a 65-58 win over PACT, posting 15 points and 23 rebounds.

Goanar Mar, DeLaSalle F, senior: Mar led No. 1-3A DeLaSalle to a 79-70 win over Robbinsdale Armstrong. Mar ranks third in the state with 98 total points.

Broc Finstuen, Pine Island G, senior: Finstuen had an impressive performance for Pine Island, totaling 27 points, 12 rebounds and five assists in the 70-58 victory over Lewiston-Altura.

Krystian Toliver, Bloomington Kennedy C, junior: Toliver finished with 28 points and 12 rebounds for Bloomington Kennedy in a 91-83 victory over Breck.
