Wisconsin-commit Brad Davison splashed a three-pointer with 2.1 seconds left in regulation to clinch a 67-64 win for Maple Grove over DeLaSalle Saturday night in the Breakdown Sports Tip Off Classic at the Lindbergh Center in Hopkins.
Davison finished the game with 28 points, while teammate Tywhon Pickford posted a 21-point, 15-rebound double-double for the Crimson (2-0), who are ranked fourth in Class 4A by Minnesota Basketball News.
Gabe Kalscheur was 4-of-8 from beyond the arc and tallied a team-high 27 points for the No. 1-3A Islanders (3-1).
