With the postseason is just around the corner, reigning Class 4A champion Apple Valley appears to be in top form coming down the regular season's final stretch.

The Eagles, ranked No. 1 in Class 4A by Minnesota Basketball News, are winners of 15 in a row and look to add to that streak against a Shakopee team hoping to upset its South Suburban Conference rival.

The No. 7-4A Sabers actually gave Apple Valley its toughest challenge of 2016, although the Eagles' dominance still made it a lopsided affair as they pulled out a 73-59 win on Jan. 15.

Both teams should be hungry for another league win that could also help build momentum going into the playoffs.

With Apple Valley seeking to get one step closer to its fourth consecutive league title and second-place Shakopee hoping to play spoiler, this matchup is our Top Game of the Week.
