Panthers state their case

Lakeville North not only reached the state tournament in football, hockey and basketball during this school year, but the Panthers reached the semifinals twice and the championship game twice, winning it all in dramatic fashion in boys’ basketball.

Football: Lost in the Class 6A quarterfinals to eventual state champion Eden Prairie.

Girls’ hockey: Reached the Class 2A semifinals; took third place.

Boys’ hockey: Reached the Class 2A championship game; lost to Edina.

Boys’ basketball: Won the Class 4A championship, defeating Hopkins.

Girls’ basketball: Reached the Class 4A semifinals; finished in fourth place.
