Ramsey, Minnesota - The Cristo Rey Jesuit boys basketball team returned from Pact Charter School Tuesday night with their second Section 4A win.

Junior Davonte Smith led all scorers with 32 points in a high-paced game in which both teams employed full court pressure.

"I was really impressed with our energy and the way we crashed the boards tonight," said head coach Kristofer Babler. "One thing we've stressed is closing out possessions. This was the first time I saw our guys commit all game to it."

Junior forward Brandon Williams set a single-game career high in rebounds with 10. Four other players contributed at least nine rebounds each.

Pact was led by sharp-shooters Daniel Nelson and Drew Johnson. Each had 22 and 19 points, respectively.

Cristo Rey returns home after a six-game road series to start the season. They play Hope Academy Friday night in a double-header with the girls' programs.
