• HOPKINS 63, WAYZATA 58: Hopkins’ Kamali Chambers drew a controversial charge call and Wayzata coach Phil Ward was given a technical foul in the final seconds of third seed Hopkins’ close victory over sixth-seeded Wayzata on Tuesday. The Trojans had a nine-point lead late in the second half, but Jacob Wright’s 19 points helped the Royals defend their home court. Wayzate made several three-pointers to jump to an early lead, but Hopkins’ size and experience proved the difference. Brad Carlson scored 17 for Wayzata.

• ARMSTRONG 65, ST. LOUIS PARK 64: Fourth seed Armstrong fell behind early but stormed out of the gate in the second half to close the gap and beat fifth-seeded St. Louis Park. The Falcons went on a 19-5 run after halftime and maintained a slim lead for much of the game’s remaining minutes. James Morris scored 18 for Armstrong. The Orioles were led by D.J. Pollard’s game-high 25 points.

• MINNETONKA 84, MINNEAPOLIS SOUTHWEST 77: The second-seeded Skippers held off a fierce second-half surge from the visiting Lakers. Southwest, a No. 7 seed, erased a 20-point decicit in the game’s final minutes but came up short of knocking the Skippers out of the playoffs. Bremiah Snyder had 20 points and 10 rebounds for Minnetonka, while Riley Dearring added 19 points and 10 rebounds. Cam Ross and Demetrius Cady both scored 25 points for Southwest.

• RICHFIELD 69, MINNEAPOLIS WASHBURN 63: The second-seeded Spartans trailed by 12 at the break, but stormed back with a 40-point second half to defeat the Millers. Jawann Ross led four Spartans in double figures as only five scorers registered points in the contest. Nick Anderson had 19 points and Jeff Jones 18 for Washburn in the loss.
