Prior Lake's Noah Scanlon scored only two points Friday night in Lakeville, but they came when everyone was watching.

• PRIOR LAKE 57, LAKEVILLE NORTH 56: The Lakers' Noah Scanlon scored only two points Friday night in Lakeville, but they came when everyone was watching. The senior guard slipped in his fourth buzzer-beater of the year as Prior Lake beat Lakeville North in the South Suburban. The Lakers and Panthers are in a dogfight atop their conference, and now both are 12-4. Carson Shanks scored 21 for Prior Lake, JP Macura 24 for Lakeville North.

• EDINA 57, EDEN PRAIRIE 55: Mark Handberg's launched a three-point prayer at the buzzer in Edina, hoping to avenge the Hornets' 20-point loss at Eden Prairie early this month. He did. The Hornets won their fifth game in a row and remain on top of the Lake Conference. Graham Woodward scored 27 for Edina.

• FARMINGTON 61, CHANHASSEN 59: Darren Beenken scored 18 points to lead the Tigers to victory. The Storm can blame many things for its loss to Farmington -- last-second shots that wouldn't drop, missed free throws, blown leads -- but it can't blame Joey Witthus. The sophomore forward drilled six three-pointers on his way to 37 points in the home loss.

• ELK RIVER 61, MAPLE GROVE 59: Bryan Edwards' steady hand delivered two late free throws to give the Elks the victory over the Crimson. Edwards finished with 17 points and 12 rebounds. The Elks ended the first half on a 22-2 run, which gave them enough cushion to hold off a second-half Maple Grove surge. Porter Morrell scored 27 points for Elk River while Jake Wieneke 20 for Maple Grove.

• MINNETONKA 72, WAYZATA 70: Riley Dearring made a game-winning baseline jumper with five seconds left to give thea Skippers the Lake Conference victory. Dearring finished with 16 points, Mike Fernando added 13 points and 11 rebounds. Wayzata's Bradley Carlson had 29 points. It was Minnetonka coach Tom Dasovich's 200th career win.

• ROSEVILLE 74, WOODBURY 52: The Raiders evened up the Suburban East Conference race by beating the visiting Royals. Senior guard Mackenzie Johnson scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, while sophomore Kobe Critchley tallied 17 points for the Raiders. Mario Franco scored 15 points for the Royals.

• EAGAN 79, BLOOMINGTON KENNEDY 78 (2 OT): Kennedy had both the ball and the opportunity to score late in the double-overtime game, but couldn't find the hoop. Eagan missed two free throws late, giving the Eagles precious seconds to score but Kennedy missed two put-back attempts as the clock expired. Michael Gorder scored 23 points for Eagan. Jumah'ri Turner led Kennedy with 23 points.

• HOLY ANGELS 66, NORTHFIELD 43: It was senior night for Holy Angels, and at the end of a one-sided contest, the team decided to honor a senior who rarely gets recognized. Nick Anderson, the Holy Angels manager with cerebral palsy, etched his name in the record books by following up an arranged basket with a legitimate three-pointer to bring a roaring crowd to its feet.

• NEW PRAGUE 62, CHASKA 59: New Prague went on an 18-3 second-half run to erase an early deficit and escape Chaska with a victory. Paul Friendsuh had 15 points and Michael Soderlund 11 for the Trojans, which remained in the hunt for the Missota Conference crown.

• BROOKLYN CENTER 76, ST. CROIX LUTHERAN 71: The Centaurs clawed back from a halftime deficit to defeat Tri-Metro opponent St. Croix Lutheran.
