High school basketball fans can see some of the nation's top Division 1 recruits, including two juniors from Minnesota going head-to-head, at the Timberwolves Shootout on Saturday at Target Center
Four games: Five top teams in Minnesota and one each from Kansas, Wisconsin and Iowa.
First and last: The opening game features Anders Broman of Lakeview Christian, who recently became Minnesota's all-time leading scorer with more than 4,000 points. The last game, Apple Valley vs. Robbinsdale Cooper, matches up top junior recruits Tyus Jones and Rashad Vaughan.
Out-of-state sizzle: Onalaska is the defending Division II champion in Wisconsin. Blue Valley Northwest has been a state runnerup in Kansas for three consecutive years.
