This game features a couple of private schools that will likely be competing for a state title this year at the Class AAA and Class A levels, respectively.  

Blake is a beautiful school on top of the hill in the west metro that resembles a castle and has featured world leaders walking its halls.  Lakeview Christian is a Duluth area institution where religion is a key component as is high academic standards.  Both are known for their quality education but are now producing scholarship level basketball talent.

Kebu Johnson vs. Anders Broman: Anders is inching ever so close to the state scoring mark for all time points. He’s one of the nation’s best three point shooters and he’ll be attending South Dakota State next year. Kebu Johnson is one of Minnesota’s more physical wing defenders. Should be fun.

Why Blake will win:

• In JR Bascom and Blaine Crawford the Bears have significant size advantage as both are 6-foot-6/6-foot-7. The two should have almost double-double level games.
• The Bears have way more depth, experience, and size in their line-up than their Class A opponent.

Why Lakeview Christian Academy will win:

• Anders Broman can go off for a ridiculous scoring total that Blake may not be able to control. It’s happened before.
• Bjorn Broman can get deep penetration which could consistently force the Blake defense to adjust allowing his brother open looks.
