The 6-foot-9 Oberfeld recently gave a verbal commitment to Bucknell for basketball. He also plays football and baseball at Eastview.

The best movie I've seen in the past year: "21 Jump Street."

Three songs I never skip on my iPod: "Danza Kuduro" by Don Omar and Lucenzo; "Don't Let Me Fall" by B.o.B; "25 to Life" by Eminem.

Three words or phrases my friends or teammates might use to describe me: Leader, motivated, big.

How did you get started in sports? My dad signed me up when I was in first grade, and I haven't stopped since.

At my first varsity practice, I felt ... small for the first time in my life.

What is your favorite meal before a game? Two turkey sandwiches with cheddar cheese, a banana, Pringles, a water and a Gatorade.

How do you balance school and sports during the year? A lot of late nights.

If you could change one thing about high school sports, what would it be? Play girls' and guys' basketball games on different nights.

When you have time off during vacation, what do you like to do? Golf and eat!

Who is your favorite college or pro sports team and why? The Gophers. I was born and raised a Gopher.

Do you have a secret talent -- and if so, what is it? I can wiggle my ears.

What is the best sports advice you ever received? "Be good at rebounding and defense. The rest will come."
