Lakeview Christian Academy junior Anders Broman continued his push toward becoming the state's all-time scorer leader over the holiday weekend, advancing to a tie at No. 7 overall with 2,852 points.

Broman is tied for seventh with Foley's Norm Grow, who set the mark in 1958.

Broman leads all scorers this season with 330 points and and an incredible 47.1 points-per-game average.

Broman's success this season was built on last-year's breakout performance. During the 2010-2011 regular season, as a sophomore, Broman piled up 1,001 points to lead the league and averaged 38.5 points per game.

Broman will look to add to his point total tonight when Lakeview Christian Academy takes on Nortwestern (Wis.) at 7:30 p.m. at St. Scholastica in Duluth.
