No. 5-3A Totino-Grace at Columbia Heights
7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 23

Will youth be served at Columbia Heights? Or is the veteran depth of Totino-Grace going to emerge? Columbia Heights has been surging in recent weeks, winning five straight games behind sophomore small forward Jarret Baptiste (15.2 ppg). He’s athletic and good at getting to the rim. There is plenty of depth in the Heights, as five players average between junior Tak Anwey’s 9.8 points per game and senior Zakaria Ali’s 8.2 points per game. Totino-Grace is looking to get back to its winning ways, as a 54-50 loss to Benilde-St. Margaret’s last Friday snapped a six-game winning streak. Junior Max Meyer (14.5 ppg), and seniors Seth Sullwold (14.1 ppg) and Collin Fleming (10.3 ppg) all average in double figures, but it’s senior guard Reggie Meyer (27.2 ppg) who has emerged as the go-to guy this winter.
