No. 3 Champlin Park at No. 7 Robbinsdale Armstrong
7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 24
MN Basketball Hub Spotlight Game

There are only a handful of top-10 matchups this week and this is one of the best, a battle between the top two teams in the Northwest Suburban Conference at the season’s mid-point. Armstrong’s only conference loss was at Champlin Park, 88-65 back on Dec. 5. Brennan Witt (16.9 ppg) led the way for the Rebels with a double-double (25 points, 10 rebounds), while Marty Hill (10.3 ppg) added 23 points and lightning-quick Ian Smith (12.9 ppg) had 17. The Rebels also did an outstanding job defensively, limiting the Falcons to just 65 points. Jerome Dixon (15.4 ppg) and Sean Burns (11.7 ppg) combined for 28 points, but big Ryan Casperson (11.3 ppg) had just four points and leading scorer Evan Nolan (15.5 ppg) only nine points. They’ll need to get going for Armstrong in the rematch.
