Chanhassen vs.

Benilde-St. Margaret's

7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 1

Chanhassen has had a cyclical season, losing four of five to start the year before winning six of its next eight. A loss to Chaska 72-39 last Thursday brings the Storm's record to .500. With two of three games this week coming against Metro West Conference opponents, Chanhassen (7-7, 2-1) must avoid sliding back into a losing stretch to remain in the hunt for its first conference title since the 2011-12 season.

Regan Tollefson (14.4 ppg), Carson Hollowaty (13.9 ppg) and Austin Carter (13.9 ppg) comprise the majority of the Storm's offense, and they will be needed to keep up against a Red Knights team that consistently scores in the high 60s or better.

Benilde-St. Margaret's also generally offense by committee, led by seniors Riley Miller (14.6 ppg), Joe Dunn (13.2 ppg) and Gabe Alada (10.7 ppg).

The Red Knights (8-7, 2-1) face league-leading St. Louis Park before taking on the Storm, so a pair of wins this week could put Benilde-St. Margaret's in control of the Metro West as the conference slate and the regular season starts winding down.
