Hopkins at Eden Prairie
7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 24

Hopkins defeated Wayzata last Friday to pull into a tie with the Trojans atop the Lake Conference standings. A win at Eden Prairie this Friday can help the Royals stay in contention for their 11th league title in the past 12 seasons.

Ball State commit Ishmael El-Amin scored 22 points while fellow senior Simon Wright had a team-high 23 for No. 6-4A Hopkins (17-5, 4-2), which topped the No. 8-4A Eagles 84-77 on Jan. 20.

Eden Prairie trails the conference frontrunners by a game, but the Eagles (13-9, 3-3) will need a strong performance from Owen Chose (20.7 ppg) and his teammates to record the upset and close on the Royals in the standings.
