Rochester Lourdes at Lake City
7:15 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 14

After Rochester Lourdes and Lake City dropped Hiawatha Valley League Gold Division games last week, both are looking to wrap up the division title with a win in Tuesday’s game.

The Eagles (14-5, 5-3) can put themselves in position for a share of the crown by avenging a heartbreaking 59-56 loss to the Tigers from early January. It was a wild contest with 23 lead changes, and Matthew Ustby's game-high 25 points wasn’t enough to help Rochester Lourdes end avoid a sixth consecutive loss to Lake City (16-4, 6-2).

The Tigers clinched the win on a layup from Marc Kjos with 24 seconds and two clutch free throws by Mitch Marien

Despite a 13-2 start to the season that included a win over Class 4A Rosemount, Lake City has gone 2-4 in February. If the Tigers pull out another victory over the Eagles, they will win the division title.
