Maple Grove at Robbinsdale Armstrong
7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 17

Maple Grove is a game behind Robbinsdale Armstrong in an ultracompetitive Northwest Suburban Conference West Division that contains five ranked teams: the No. 2-4A Crimson, the No. 11-4A Falcons, No. 13-4A Osseo, No. 16-4A Park Center and No. 7-3A Totino-Grace.

With only a handful of division games remaining, Maple Grove (17-2, 11-2) can cement its place atop the standings completing a sweep of Robbinsdale Armstrong.

Wisconsin commit Brad Davison’s 39 points and eight steals, along with 19 points and 16 rebounds from teammate Tywhon Pickford, propelled the Crimson to a 72-64 victory over the Falcons on Jan. 17.

The duo will have to counter 6-foot-8 Race Thompson, who leads Robbinsdale Armstrong (14-5, 12-1) in all stat categories. Thompson (20.3 ppg) was limited to 13 points in the first meeting, however, Davonte Saeed-El picked up the slack and finished with a team-high 19 points.
