Private school powers New Life Academy and Heritage Christian Academy (14-2, 7-0) battle on Tuesday to decide which will take outright control of the Minnesota Christian Athletic Association standings.

New Life's only blemish this season is a 59-54 loss to No. 1-2A Minnehaha Academy on Jan. 3. New Life (14-1, 7-0) has since won nine straight games behind Kyle Kaemingk (17.1 ppg) and Chris Ketema (13.1 ppg).

Defending league champion, No. 10-1A Heritage Christian is coming off an impressive 51-48 upset over No. 3-1A Central Minnesota Christian on Saturday with leading scorer C.J. Woda (20.6 ppg) and post Jack Vander Top each chipping in 11 points.
