Minneapolis North at Central Minnesota Christian
3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4

Minneapolis North and Central Minnesota Christian are gearing up for a return to the Class 1A state tournament and could view Saturday's matchup as a solid litmus test.

The No. 1-1A Polars (16-1, 8-0) are on a 16-game winning streak, extended by a 74-70 win over No. 2-2A Caledonia on Saturday. Odell Wilson IV (16.8 ppg, 9.9 rpg) anchors Minneapolis North inside.

The (15-2, 5-0) Bluejays will likely try to control the pace of the game with patience and defense, as they have not allowed more than 70 points in a game since their season opener on Dec. 3.

Matthew Van Eps (14 ppg) quarterbacks No. 3-1A Central Minnesota Christian from the top of the three-point arc and will be tasked with helping the Bluejays maintain possession against the Polars' pressure.
