Just eight days after No. 5-2A Watertown-Mayer defeated No. 6-2A New London-Spicer 64-47, the Wright County West rivals will battle again.

The Wildcats (12-2, 3-1) shot just 23 percent from the field in the loss and got 13 points from Brooke Beuning and 12 from Shea Oman.

The Royals (15-2, 7-0) broke open a two-point game at halftime behind Monika Czinano, Claire Killian and Kirstin Klitzke. Czinano finished with a game-high 22 points, while Killian added 17 and Klitzke scored 10.

Watertown-Mayer has won three straight since a 67-62 loss to Eden Valley-Watkins on Jan 14.
