Southwest Minnesota Christian at Red Rock Central
6 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 26

Red Rock Central’s unbeaten record has propelled it to the No. 8-rank in Class 1A, and the Falcons will have to defend that rank against Southwest Minnesota Christian.

Luke Engen has been a force for Red Rock Central (13-0, 9-0), averaging 15.8 points and 17 rebounds per game this season. Trevor Pederson follows Engen with 15 ppg.

Southwest Minnesota Christian pieced together a seven-game winning streak early in the season, but has struggled lately, dropping two of their past four, including a 86-53 thrashing against Central Minnesota Christian on Jan. 21.

A.J. Vanderby (8 ppg) will likely battle Engen in the paint for the No. 20-1A Eagles (8-3, 6-1), who look to rebound against Red Rock Central.
