Cristo Rey Jesuit at Community of Peace
6 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 24

Cristo Rey Jesuit is unbeaten in Twin Cities Athletic Conference play, but the Pumas will have to face Community of Peace on the road, where they have lost every game this season.

Texas commit Jericho Sims had a 40-point, 18-rebound performance to lead the Pumas (8-5, 4-0) to a 75-63 win over Blake on Jan. 16, and followed that performance with a 35-point night in a 74-67 victory against Prairie Seeds Academy last Friday.

Sims has led Cristo Rey Jesuit to a four-game win streak entering this week.

The state’s leading rebounder, 6-foot-3 Ontario Chapman (20.8 rpg), will seek to use his athleticism to limit Sims’ second chances at the rim and fulfill his role as leading scorer for the Tigers (6-5, 3-2).

Chapman has posted a double double in all but one game for Community of Peace. He’s averaged 15.4 ppg this season.
