Rogers at Big Lake
7:15 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 24

The last teams with undefeated conference records in the Mississippi 8 Conference face each other on Tuesday to determine which team will take position at the top of the league standings.

Rogers is on a four-game tear where the Royals (11-3, 3-0) have held competition to 45.5 points per game. Matt Carik and Jordan Belka lead Rogers on the offensive end, scoring 17.4 ppg and 16.5 ppg, respectively.

Big Lake started the season by winning seven straight games, but have since lost three of their past five in the new year. Two of those have been single point losses to Class 4A Blaine (56-55) on Jan. 3 and No. 8-3A Alexandria (75-74) on Jan. 17.

Logan Nagorski (9.8 ppg) has scored in double digits the past three games for the No. 9-3A Hornets (9-3, 2-0), including a team-high 15 points in Big Lake’s 50-47 win against St. Michael-Albertville last Friday.
