Fergus Falls at St. Cloud Tech
7:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 19

St. Cloud Tech is the only unbeaten team in Central Lakes Conference play, and the Tigers aim to continue their dominance against the defending conference champion Fergus Falls.

The Otters have a slew of shooters who can cut a deficit and go on a run in a hurry, but Matthew Monke may be the most pivotal player for No. 11-3A Fergus Falls.

Monke will need to pull 6-foot-11 center Trevor Koenig away from the rim to make room in the paint for his team. The Otters (10-2, 4-1) will also need to contain 6-foot-7 forward Brevyn Spann-Ford, along with the Tigers' talented bench that returns 10 of its 11 regulars from last season.

St. Cloud Tech (12-1, 6-0) has worn down teams with its depth, allowing 50 or more points in four games this season. The No. 16-4A Tigers have only one loss this season, falling 61-52 on Dec. 30 to No. 20-4A Woodbury -- a team previously ranked in the top 10.
