Lake City at Goodhue
7:15 p.m., Friday, Jan. 20

Goodhue boasts a state-best 14-0 record and shows no signs of regressing from its torrid winning streak. Lake City presents the No. 4-1A Wildcats with their toughest Hiawatha Valley League matchup as both teams are atop the standings of their respective divisions.

The Tigers (10-1, 5-0) have just one blemish on their record, a 70-38 loss to Robbinsdale Cooper on Dec. 30, and the Blue Division leaders pulled off a 70-64 win over Class 4A Rosemount the day prior.

Marc Kjos leads a trio of 5-foot-10 guards in Lake City's starting lineup and has a knack for hitting three-pointers.

Ben Opsahl led the Gold Division-leading Wildcats (14-0, 6-0) with 20 points in a 55-39 win on Jan. 13 over Zumbrota-Mazeppa team with 10 wins on the season.
