Hinckley-Finlayson at Braham
6 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 20

Braham's string of dominance in the Great River Conference is unprecedented, piecing together 13 consecutive league titles and six straight unbeaten seasons in the conference.

The Bombers, however, were unable to extend a different streak earlier this season. The defending Class 2A champion had its state record 85-game home winning streak snapped by Pine City on Dec. 8.

And now Hinckley-Finlayson seeks to show the loss wasn't a fluke while asserting itself as the league leader when it visits Braham on Tuesday.

The Bombers' 71-48 loss to the Dragons was their lowest scoring outing since 2014, and they look to get back on track with a lineup that features just two returners from last year’s state tournament team, including Cody Carlson. He is a bruiser in the post for Braham (3-1), a team that lives off balanced scoring.

Hinckley-Finlayson is coming off a 76-65 win over Pine City on Dec. 13. Team rebounding and balanced scoring have been the to the Jaguars’ success, and T.J. Johnson is a contender for the conference scoring title.
