Wayzata vs. Park Center at the University of St. Thomas
7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 28

Both teams are coming off triumphant wins and look to continue that success against a tough tournament field at the St. Thomas Invitational.

Wayzata’s balanced attack has key in a 75-74 overtime victory against Eden Prairie on Dec. 16. Gavin Baumgartner (18 ppg) and Ryan Lindberg (17 ppg) lead the Trojans (3-0), who could break into the Class 4A rankings with a win over No. 8-4A Park Center.

The Pirates are one of the hottest teams in the Northwest Suburban Conference with wins over Osseo and No. 4-4A Maple Grove last week.

Losini Kamara made a crucial steal and transition basket that helped the Pirates upset the Crimson 61-56 Dec. 16. Kamara scored the final four points for Park Center (4-0) and finished the game with 18.
