Robbinsdale Cooper at Chaska
7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 16

The Metro West Conference title race has come down to the final week, and Chaska is leading heading into the home stretch.

The No. 9-4A Hawks (19-5, 10-2) sit atop the league standings with a one-game lead, but still have work to do with a matchup against second-place Robbinsdale Cooper (16-5, 9-3) on Tuesday.

A victory may not be an easy task for Chaska, which used 28 points from junior forward Myles Hanson to slip by Cooper 66-65 on Jan. 19.

Chaska held the backcourt duo of Melvin (19.6 ppg) and Beijan Newbern (15 ppg) to just 17 total points in the first matchup and need a carbon copy of its defensive performance to keep Cooper's leading scorers in check.
