Osseo at Maple Grove
7:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 19

Osseo (24-0, 16-0), which has already clinched the Northwest Suburban Conference West Division title, enters the week with an incredible scoring differential of more than 25 points per game. The Orioles possess the league's the highest-scoring offense, averaging 85.5 ppg, while limiting opponents to just 59 ppg.

The offensive output has been a collective effort for Osseo, which has an eye-popping seven players averaging at least eight points per game. Sophomore guard Zach Theisen (13.5 ppg) and senior guard Damario Armstrong (12.3 ppg) lead the balanced scoring attack.

While the Orioles may have the state's longest winning streak, Maple Grove (21-3, 15-2) has one of the most impressive runs. The Crimson have bounced back from the loss of leading scorer Tywhon Pickford, who suffered a season-ending injury in early January, to win nine of their last 10 games.

Maple Grove's wealth of talent has filled in the scoring gap, with Brad Davison upping his offensive production since his backcourt mate went down. The junior guard is averaging 21 ppg and exploded for 35 points against Osseo in the first meeting.

Seniors Reed Nikko and Taron Pickford, as well as junior Jack Hutchison, also average double figures in scoring for the Crimson.
