Shakopee at Apple Valley
7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 11

Each team has top-tier scoring ability, but their first matchup was a lower-scoring affair by their standards. Apple Valley's 73 points were the Eagles' second-lowest point total this season while Shakopee's 59 was its third lowest.

Both teams feature star-packed lineups, with No. 1-4A Apple Valley (21-1, 12-0) boasting four Division I recruits, led by Gary Trent Jr. He scored 27 points in the first meeting with the No. 7-4A Sabers while senior center Brock Bertram added 19 and sophomore guard Tre Jones had 16.

Shakopee (19-3, 12-2) is led by senior Steffon Mitchell, and the forward didn't back down from a challenge against Apple Valley, finishing the loss with 25 points.
