Elk River at Blaine
7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 29

As Elk River looks to contend for a Northwest Suburban North Division title, the No. 10-4A Elks (14-3, 7-3) need to pick up league wins over quality teams such as Blaine (11-7, 5-6) down the stretch.

Elk River narrowly squeaked by the Bengals 66-61 at home on Jan. 5.

One key to the Elks' success this season has been the uptick in offensive production from senior guard Matthew Keller, who is one of the state's top scorers at 23.2 ppg after averaging 15 ppg last year

Blaine counters with senior guard Benjamin Scherer, who leads the team with 16 ppg this season.
