Centennial gets a test against Orono in this inter-class matchup of ranked teams.

 

The No. 6-4A Cougars are an interesting team heading into this season.

 

It's anybody's guess as to who Centennial will count on to score points with no seniors on its roster. Perhaps 6-foot-2 center Sarah Grow (11.2 ppg last season) can pick up the offensive slack after the graduation of Jaycie Gerding (15.8 ppg).

 

As for the No. 1-3A Spartans, things are a more concrete in terms of the scoring. 

 

Tori Andrew (13.5 ppg), Meghan Mandel (11.3 ppg) and Danielle Jorgenson (11.1 ppg) return from a team that finished third at the Class 3A state tournament last season.
