Roseau and Thief River Falls play Friday in the first of three games scheduled this season, and first could be a good one with both ranked high in their respective classes.

 

The No. 5-3A Rams are led by the Borowicz sisters, junior Kiley and freshman Kacie, who each averaged more than 17 points per game last season and guided Roseau to the state tournament for the first time since 2001.

 

Guards Meleah Biermaier and Kylea Praska highlight the returners for the No. 5-3A Prowlers. 

 

Thief River Falls has 11 straight wins in the series, with the Rams' last victory coming on the road in a 66-64 game on Dec. 21, 2010.
