Rochester Mayo has 6-foot-1 center Anna Winter back to help anchor the No. 10-4A Spartans (1-0) in the paint on both ends while 5-10 junior guard Olivia Korngable will keep opponents honest on the perimeter.

 

Mayo enters the year off a 23-6 season that ended with a loss to Hopkins in the Class 4A state quarterfinals.

 

Minnetonka (1-0) picked up a 92-67 road win over Apple Valley on Nov. 28 to kick off the season.

 

The No. 2-4A Skippers are led by a bunch of talented seniors, starting with Courtney Fredrickson, a Wisconsin commit who is Minnetonka's leading returning scorer after averaging 16.2 ppg last season.

 

Wisconsin-Milwaukee commit Lizzie Odegard, who scored 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in the victory over the Eagles, is also a force for the Skippers.
