Albany at New London-Spicer

Both Albany and New London-Spicer return several players who helped their programs see some success, and this game should give both a good understanding of how they stack up against some of Class 2A's top teams. 

Guards Nick Raeker and Kyle Birr are back from a Huskies' team that was 21-6. Raeker, a senior who was Albany's leading scorer, averaged 16.2 points per game in the regular season, while Birr averaged 11.1.

Senior forward Shane Zylstra, who averaged 15.2 points per game in the regular season, was key in the Wildcats' run to the Class 2A state tournament. New London-Spicer's tournament appearance lasted one game as the Wildcats lost to Annandale 76-70 in the quarterfinals.
