Sauk Centre at Upsala

Upsala traveled to Sauk Centre in the season opener last year. The game was added to bolster the early season schedules of both teams as the Cardinals were fresh off their best season in the school's history, while the Mainstreeters have consistently brought athleticism to the hardwood. The matchup did not disappoint as Sauk Centre held on to win 91-88.

Sauk Centre goes to Upsala for the opener this year and the matchup could have a different feel as the Mainstreeters lost a few key players but remain athletic. The Cardinals lost more than 50 points of scoring from their lineup, but they possess height with three starters who are at least 6-foot-5.

Sauk Centre finished second in the West Central North Conference. Upsala has won the Prairie Conference the past two seasons.
