No. 6-3A Totino-Grace at Columbia Heights
3:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8

How good is Reggie Meyer? The Totino-Grace senior guard averaged 17.0 ppg last winter as a junior, a good number, but one that didn’t necessarily predict this year’s explosion to 25.9 ppg, including a 41-point burst in a victory over Fridley in mid-December. The Eagles are far from a one-man team, though, as both senior forward Seth Sullwold (14.2 ppg) and senior point guard Collin Fleming (10.3 ppg) average in double-figures. A young Columbia Heights team has been a pleasant surprise under coach Willie Braziel, as young guards such as sophomore Jarret Baptiste (16.0 ppg) and junior Tak Anwey (10.2 ppg) have led the Hylanders to six straight victories. The Hylanders sit in second in the North Suburban Conference standings, just percentage points behind Benilde-St. Margaret’s.
