No. 5 Eden Prairie at No. 2 Hopkins
7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 7
MN Basketball Hub Spotlight Game

Just two weeks ago, Hopkins overcame a slow start to rally past Eden Prairie, 88-73 in the Eagles’ home gym. Citadel recruit Jake Wright (17.6 ppg) poured in 26 points including five 3-pointers, while sophomore Amir Coffey (15.2 ppg) added 21 points as the Royals got hot from outside in the second half. They’re certainly capable of doing so against any team, including in the rematch with the Eagles, who must be wary of their range. Eden Prairie used its inside game effectively in the first meeting, as 6-foot-9 Aaron Workin (8.6 ppg) and 6-foot-5 Zach Hovey (6.3 ppg) helped the Eagles to a 37-36 halftime lead. Senior guard Andre Wallace (18.6 ppg) led Eden Prairie with 21 points, while leading scorer Grantham Gillard (20.6 ppg) was held to 13 points.
